Next was a mass house-to-house vaccination at Brgy. San Vicente in Castilla. The visitors were able to meet Brgy. Chairman Adrian Luna as well as the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Agriculture and Fisheries Workers (BAFW) who are also volunteer vaccinators. The visitors also met with BHWs from Sorsogon City who assisted in the CARE Projects’ community-based survey (CBS). The volunteerism of BHWs in Sorsogon is very noteworthy and has opened possibilities for other health programs to reach the communities.
