Considered as the healthcare frontliners in the community, GARC also trained the Barangay Health Workers (BHW) to support the IEC campaign of the province. BHWs and barangay officials in the town of Donsol were trained using GARCs’ REC Program. On the whole, more than 300 key persons were trained as rabies educators including Rural Health Unit personnel, teachers, livestock inspectors, nurses, BAFWs, and municipal agriculture and health officers.
