Partners for Rabies Prevention is a group that includes all the major international agencies involved in rabies, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), the WHO rabies collaborating centres, research scientists, representatives from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation , the UBS Optimus Foundation, and representatives from industry.
Partners for Rabies Prevention is a GARC initiative.
A major achievement of the PRP is the Blueprint for Rabies Prevention. This free information, written by world's foremost rabies experts, gives governing bodies worldwide a roadmap of the steps needed to reduce rabies in their area.
