The CARE Project Implementers headed by the Provincial Veterinary Office conducted a citywide mural painting contest for high school students of Sorsogon City. It was entitled “World Rabies Day: Mural Wall Painting Competition” and also adapted the theme “End Rabies Together”. It was participated by 3 teams. Two teams are from Sorsogon National High School and one team is from Abuyog National High School. Mr. Florio C. de Ocampo Jr. and Mr. Ricky Jamisola are the coaches of each teams respectively.
The registration and briefing was conducted at the Provincial Veterinary Office from 11:00 am – 12:00nn. While the contest proper was held at Sorsogon East Central School (SECS) from 1:00 – 4:30 pm. The awarding of winners was held at SECS’ Teacher Hall at 5:00 pm.

3rd and 1st place are grabbed by Sorsogon National High School, while the 2nd place is from Abuyog National High School. Each winning team were given certificates and cash prizes. 6000 pesos were given to the 1st prize as 4000 and 3000 pesos were given for the 2nd and 3rd respectively.
