Children working on art projects to raise awareness about rabies during World Rabies Day 2015 celebration in Nias Island, Indonesia

GARC Nias, was accompanied by Dr Surya Barus, collaborate with Ehipassiko, Sempoa Sip, and First Step, local NGO, conducted information campaign and drawing competition in reformatory of Monaco, Gunungsitoli city on 15 November 2015 in Gunungsitoli. Total 129 children under 15 years old and 60 parents attended the event. Powerpoint presentation about rabies, Desa Warna Warni video, and rabies song were showed in the activities by GARC team and Dr Surya Barus.
The participants (children) were asked to color the black and white draw design made by GARC team related dog vaccination and responsible pet ownership. The winner of this competition got a cup and money for their prize.
